In 1979, Usborne published ‘Book of the Future’, a look at some of the technologies that would change our lives up to the year 2000 and beyond. It fascinated me and probably had something to do with the fact that I have been involved with technology in some way ever since. Hence the name of my blog.
This blog is a tribute to the original book in the form of a collection of views, reviews and projects loosely collected around the subjects of technology, society and geekery. Originally designed to stand alone, it has increasingly become the companion to my radio appearances so I’ve shifted the tone and content to make it more appropriate to the radio audience. When I feel the need to really vent without such constraints I do so at http://man-blog.co.uk.
